You think your happiness so precarious
One stumble would knock it down
A tenuous connection could be cut
And you'd be lost again

But life has brought you to a different plane
Foundations uncompromised have been laid
The rocks that hold you in your place
Are here to stay and carry you

So come what may and it surely will
You will meet it on terms all yours
